United States Department of Labor releases a smart phone application, allows employees to calculate the exact salary and overtime pay they receive without having to worry about cheating.
This application, DOL-Time sheet allows employees to calculate the number of working hours, rest periods, exact salary and overtime pay to create their salary records. Department of labor party claimed this application will be useful to deal with employees complaints who are not paid in accordance with their hard work.
Secretary of Labor HILDA SOLIS said that, this application will help the workers to understand and defend their case when companies do not recognize their hard work.
The new application is expected to help low wage immigrant workers pay their fair count. the new application can be currently used in the iphone and ipod touch. the Department of Labour wants to develop this application in other devices including Blackberry and also in Android phones.
