iphone first launched in 2007. Every year in June Apple introduces a new version every year in World Wide Developing Conference. Apple at WWDC 2011 plans to introduce the next versions of ios and Mac OS X (Lion). current rumors suggests a new ios, dubbed ios 5, would include cloud based features that are online storage, free mobile Me access for email, calender and some others. Apple's ios 5 may also have an improved graphics engine. Some other expecting features of iphone 5 are shown below.
1. Multi touch Gestures:
ios 4.3GM brought new multi touch gestures that includes the use of 4 or 5 fingers to do many things. like a five finger pinch on any app would take you to the home screen and a four finger left or right swipe would switch between the running apps. these multi touch gestures were not released in ios 4.3's so it is very interesting feature that will be coming out with ios 5.0.
2. No Home button:
iphone 5 might not have any home button on its front. when you want to switch between the apps with four finger gestures instead of double clicking the home button and 5 finger pinch to the home screen.
3. Design:
iphone 5 might also get a slight or no hardware design, you might be carrying on iphone 5 with the same design as your iphone 4 and no one can notice that you have iphone 5.
4. Dual core CPU:
All are expecting 1GHz Dual core CPU. iphone 5 might have A5 features a 1GHz ARM cortex A8 or A9 dual core processor. A5 has got two times faster CPU and nine times faster GPU.
